I just wanted to say thank-you for being real, down to earth and telling it like it really is.
I have not yet began to invest, but I'm studying.
I am excited about it, but I'm taking it slow. I would rather be cautious now than be sorry later.

The book and CD were excellent. I have listened to it twice. I currently own a real estate company in Houston with 4 offices and over 600 agents. I think there might be potential in using them to build an investment division.

I recently began receiving your articles on Real Estate Investing. I find your articles most helpful as a beginning investor. With every article I am able to implement new techniques and tools to become a successful investor.

In your article, Asking Sellers The Right Questions, got the ball rolling for me. It just brought about a new way of approaching investing. I was kind of stumped as to what to do next? Or better yet, how do I do what I need to next?.....and your article helped me put it in perspective. Its the articles from you and other seasoned investors like Kim Kearny, who help new investors.

...You may not remember me, I’m the guy from Athens. We spoke a couple of times after I took your class, regarding a deal I was putting together locally. I closed on that house last Tuesday and picked up about $50K in equity. I also recently contracted to take another property "subject to" in two weeks. This property is on a river and was appraised at $115,000 last year. The seller is signing the property over to me as they lost their job. I plan to flip it for $99,000 a.s.a.p. Thanks for the great training!
